Offering Peace and Comfort In the Devon Countryside
"Need fresh air with peace and quiet?"
"Need to get away from it all?"
Long linear walks, many maintained by Devon County Council or the National Trust also abound in this beautiful part of Devon such as the 11 mile Little Dart Ridge & Valley Walk linking the well known Tarka Trail to the equally well known long distance coast to coast Two Moors Way.
Various paths through the woods along the river by Rockhaye connect with the TWO MOORS WAY within half a mile, offering a cooling refreshing short circular walk in the summer months courtesy of local land owners and the Woodland Trust.

Little known short walks are also provided by local land owners offering circular routes unsurpassed in their idyllic isolated atmosphere. Such one is the conservation walk & bridle way beautifully maintained by the owners of Dart Raffe Farm which surrounds Rockhaye and is 'a must' to walk if staying with us.
Another walk is alongside the Little Dart River which also offers the opportunity to fly fish for trout is accessed directly in front of Rockhaye B&B. It is also a wonderful place to have a picnic and cool off in the summer months whilst paddling your feet!
A short walk through the woods is a wonderful way to relax whilst enjoying the flora and fauna.
