Directions by Car to Rockhaye Cottage B&B from the M5 Motorway

  • Leave the M5 Motorway at Junction 27 and take the A361 (North Devon Link Road) Sign posted Barnstable.

  • Ignore the first signpost to Tiverton after approximately 7 miles.

  • At the first roundabout on the A361 take the first exit and follow the signs to Witheridge.

  • Continue following the signs to Witheridge on the outskirts of Tiverton.  Pass the Mid Devon College called PETROC on the right, a  childrens skate board park on the left and again on the left Tiverton Swimming Pool by a roundabout all within 300 metres of each other.

  • After Morrisons Super Market on the left with Tiverton Hospital opposite continue over the River Exe Bridge to a mini roundabout  and take the second exit sign posted Witheridge.

  • Within 150 metres take the second turning left at Long Drag Hill  B3137 to Witheridge 11 miles.

  • On entering Witheridge you will pass a fire station on the right and a Methodist Church with cemetary.

  • The Mitre Inn on the right is followed by the village square and St John's Church with clock tower.

  • Take the first un-named road on the right past St. John's Church. 

  • Descend the hill for about 400 metres until you reach two houses on the right immediately followed by a bridge  over the Little Dart River.  

  • When on the bridge Rockhaye, a sand coloured thatched cottage, is directly in front of you approached by a concrete drive to the right of the Rockhaye house sign.


NB      The journey from the M5 should take you about 30 minutes.
